Are you serious?

On election day South Dakota once again voted down the abortion ban. I do not understand how this amendment keeps getting put on the ballot. Leslee Unruh leader of this initiative is very much off her rocker. She claims that science books containing the human anatomy are pornographic, and that sex-ed should be eliminated in schools. This is a woman, by the way, that herself had a child outside of wed-lock, divorced her previous husband (a pastor), and has had her own abortion. She claims that she is saving women from making the same mistakes she made. She also claims that any type of physical affection before marriage is unreasonable. Her own daughter supposedly waited until her wedding day for her first kiss. Why are people listening to this whack job? Talk about a hypocrite...

Did you know 2.0

Our culture is changing and reshaping itself by the second. It is scary and exciting at the same time. It is crazy to think about the technology we are going to have by the time we are our parents' ages. I think that it is very important that both children and adults keep up to speed with new technology. It is intimidating to think that someday we could lose our jobs to someone younger who has a better grasp of new things. It is amazing how quickly technology has advanced, and a little rediculous that we will have that so many different jobs in our lifetime.

Elections

I strongly feel it is important for every American to vote. Our country is in desperate need of change. I am tired of slanderous advertising and the amount of misinformation circulating among Americans. It is sad to say that people believe everything they hear, whether or not it comes from a credible source. No matter which candidate you choose, I beg that you really understand what that candidate stands for. Not just one concept, but really how that candidate is going to handle every aspect of the presidency. Moral values are very important to a society, but so is war and the economy. If we can't afford to pay our debt are we going to end up like Iceland, trying as a country to file for bankruptcy? As a college senior it is terrifying wondering if there will be jobs available when I graduate. So as the campaign season comes to an end, please take time to really understand who you are voting for and why.

I am finally finished taking my LSAT. Now I am working to finish my college applications. Our midterm tests begin this week, and I am anxious to finish them.

I am currently enrolled in a Public Relations Campaign class, and our campaign is in full swing. It is going much quicker than I originally thought. I have a wonderful group, and we are working very well as a team. I am excited to continue the rest of the semester. Although, this semester is going by much too quickly.

Fall Semester in Full Swing

Fall semester has officially started. Currently I am studying award winning PR campaigns. Our PR campaigns class has officially picked a client for fall semester. We are meeting our client next Thursday, when we will hopefully begin our group assignments. I am very busy with classes and studying for my LSAT, which is almost three weeks away.

Starting A New Year

This year has started out kind of hectic. I am currently in my senior year of college as a student of mass communications. I will be graduating in May, and then hopefully attending law school the next fall. I am currently studying for my LSAT, which has been taking up most of my time.
